Bridging the gap between technology and people – A Zycus and MSU study
As a procurement transformation leader, you can frequently feel overwhelmed. There are too many battles to fight – preparing a sound business case, grappling with uncertainties, keeping your credibility safe and so on. And one thing that could make or break any procurement technology implementation is the thumbs up or the thumbs down by your own people. Whether users take to the application deployed as fish to water, or they curse it like a bad fate – will ultimately define your success as a decision maker in procurement technology purchases.
Adoption, itself, then, is no easy nut to crack. And to understand this better, Zycus has joined hands with the Michigan State University to go deeper into the various factors responsible for successes and failures of adoption. An exhaustive research study is underway, spearheaded by Professor Tobias Schoenherr from Eli Broad College of Business. The objective is to bring to surface, the perceptional and attitudinal biases, organizational rigidities, past experiences lying behind a typical procurement technology transformation project, and to identify the extent to which each of these factors play a role in assisting or discouraging the transformation.
You can help us make sense of this complexity by actively participating in the current phase of the investigation – the quantitative survey on adoption of enabling procurement technologies – drivers and barriers. Zycus promises every procurement practitioner attractive tangible rewards in return for their time and contribution as respondents to this survey:
- An advanced copy of the exclusive report for every procurement executive whose response to the survey is valid and complete
- $25 Amazon Coupon Codes for the first 35 procurement executives whose responses to the survey are valid and complete
- A Kindle Fire HDX 7″ Tablet for the one lucky procurement executive whose response to the survey is valid and complete
This survey is yet another step ahead in Zycus’ determination to learn from its customers and the practitioner base. Responses to this survey will encourage and guide us further in our attempt to help the procurement community achieve greater heights. We hope to receive a huge response from you.
