Zycus partners with the Association of American Medical Colleges to Enhance its Supplier and Contract Management with AI-powered Merlin Solutions
[Princeton, New Jersey; 12 April 2024] – The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), a not-for-profit association representing accredited medical schools and teaching hospitals, has signed a multi-year deal with Zycus, a pioneer in GenAI-powered source-to-pay software solutions, to overhaul its procurement processes and move towards leveraging AI-powered solutions for streamlined contract management & sourcing, enhanced supplier diversity capabilities, and robust supply chain management.
The AAMC leads and serves the academic medicine community to improve the health of people everywhere. Founded in 1876 and based in Washington, D.C., the AAMC is a not-for-profit association dedicated to transforming health through medical education, health care, medical research, and community collaborations. Its network of member institutions encompasses the full spectrum of medical education, including 171 accredited medical schools in the United States and Canada, over 400 teaching hospitals and health systems that include Veterans Affairs medical centers, and more than 70 academic societies.
The AAMC identified the need for a solution that eliminates manual steps, streamlines operations, and sets the stage for future growth. Zycus’s suite of products, including iContract, iManage, iRequest, iRisk, iSaaS, iSource, iSupplier, Merlin for risk and contract management, and Merlin Assist, will replace the AAMC’s current tools, offering a seamless, integrated approach to procurement management.
