Zycus Annual Award Winners Demonstrate High ROI, Rapid Deployment, Comprehensive Adoption and Integration of Procurement Technology Solutions
PRINCETON, NJ, December 21, 2015 — Zycus, a global leader in source-to-pay procurement technology solutions, recently announced the Annual Award winners at a gala evening, featuring fine food, dancing, and fireworks and celebrated by 200+ procurement leaders at the HORIZON 2015 conference, Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA.
In all, more than a dozen high-performing companies, procurement teams, and leaders were recognized as nominees for delivering measurable performance improvement, rapid procurement-solution deployment, comprehensive adoption, integration, and exceptionally high ROI on their Zycus solution investments.
2015 winner in the Enterprise Impact Award of the Year category – for team achieving improved processes, attaining stated KPIs, and demonstrating enterprise impact through implementation of Zycus solutions and services – was Coca-Cola Refreshments USA, Inc.
Coca-Cola Refreshments, which uses the Zycus Spend Analysis solution to generate 360-degree visibility of spending across millions of transactions each year, was recognized for its recent payment-terms optimization and supply-chain financing initiative. These efforts have delivered positive cash-flow impact for both Coca-Cola and its suppliers.
The Ace Organization Adoption Award was given to Rockwell Automation, Inc. for best organization-wide adoption of Zycus solutions through improved processes and user KPIs. In just nine months (from December 2014 – August 2015) Rockwell automation has leveraged Zycus iSource, iContract, and iSupplier solutions across 1,100+ sourcing events, 300+ new contracts, and 4,000+ unified supplier records. Accepting the award for Rockwell Automation, S2P Process and Deployment Manager Kimberly Zarnstorff said: “We have been working with Zycus for the last few years and the tools have come at a great time as we are experiencing enormous changes with information security and technology in general. We have asked a great deal of the Zycus team and are looking forward to the next few years as we continue to collaborate toward building an S2P portal. We will continue to challenge and push Zycus and I believe we are going to do some very good things together.”
The Strategic Partnership Award for 2015 went to TE Connectivity as an organization that has partnered with Zycus in helping to build out its complete, truly integrated S2P suite, playing an especially critical role in helping to develop high-impact Zycus product features such as advanced approval workflows to ensure robust sourcing and contract management solutions.
The Rising Procurement Hero Award was given to two outstanding first-year customers – Jawbone and QBE Insurance Group. Jawbone was recognized for achieving, in just a single year, 100% automation of its requisition process with zero paper involved. The company has also successfully implemented a no-PO/no-pay policy along with several best practices for approval workflows, requisitioning, and catalog management and for institutionalizing consistent sourcing processes for the Americas and China.
Accepting for Jawbone, Indirect Procurement Manager Pamela Lowe expressed great appreciation for Jawbone’s IT, information systems, procurement, legal, accounts payable, and finance teams as well as the entire Zycus implementation team. “We really lived together as we built out our business and infrastructure requirements because we wanted to ensure a wonderful go live, which happened last January. Everyone has been extremely happy with the progress and performance of the Zycus tools. We have implemented e-procurement, e-invoicing and sourcing management and will be finishing additional modules by the end of this December. Thanks to all who have spent so much time making Jawbone more efficient. We do appreciate it.”
Receiving for QBE Insurance Group, which has, in less than one year, deployed Zycus tools for contract management, sourcing process management, financial savings management, and spend analysis, Anders Lillevik said: “One year ago, we were a Zycus prospect. We were deciding among a number of technology providers, including our own ERP and other suite providers. It came down to the companies we could trust to get the job done properly.
