Singapore, April 17, 2014 – Zycus, a leading source-to-pay and procurement performance suite provider, announced today that SMRT Corporation, will adopt its Spend Analysis solution to attain a unified view of their spend data that would support their enterprise level strategic sourcing and spend management activities.
SMRT Corporation, the leading multi-modal transport operator in Singapore, has been listed on the Singapore Exchange since July 26, 2000 and operates bus, rail, taxi and other public-transport services via several wholly owned subsidiaries. Zycus was shortlisted due to the strength of their business model and robustness of their product to conduct a Proof of Concept using SMRT’s spend data, involving multiple stakeholders from their Procurement team.
In a bid to reduce the manual effort involved in coordinating with multiple material groups for an insight into their spend data, SMRT began a market survey of selected Spend Analysis vendors based on their position in the 2013 Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Strategic Sourcing Application Suites.
Zycus was shortlisted due to the strength of their business model and robustness of their product to conduct a Proof of Concept using SMRT’s spend data, involving multiple stakeholders from their Procurement team. The advanced functionality of the tool coupled with its user friendly interface and quick implementation model were the key factors that influenced SMRT’s decision to finally choose Zycus.
