Rockwell Automation Receives The Strategic Partnership Award for Procurement Excellence in the First Annual Zycus Procurement Excellence Awards
PRINCETON, NJ- December 11, 2013 – Rockwell Automation has received a Strategic Partnership Award for Procurement Excellence at the first annual Zycus Procurement Excellence awards, which showcased companies that follow best practices in procurement, making a difference to their organization.
Rockwell Automation uses Zycus’ eSourcing and Contract Management Suite solutions. Rockwell has partnered with Zycus in building a highly scalable Sourcing solution, to address their business need of handling 10,000+ line items and 300+ suppliers, in one sourcing event, thereby making Zycus one of the firsts in the industry for sourcing scalability and performance. Zycus and Rockwell are now partnering for the next generation of Sourcing capabilities such as smart negotiation and awarding. For Contracting Management Rockwell has contributed for intelligent guided clause classification and flexible template library. Partnership between Rockwell Automation and Zycus would continue ahead to bring in shared vision and innovation in procurement technology.
“We have done a lot of really close work with Zycus over the last couple of years with not only their eSourcing tool but also their Contract Management tool,” says Candace Barnes, Project Manager, Rockwell Automation. “We have been able to accomplish a lot of stream lining of our own business processes that better prepare us for risk mitigation strategies. Without the partnership with Zycus, I don’t think we would have gotten as far as we have.”
The Strategic Partnership Award for Procurement Excellence is given to the organization that has developed a strategic partnership with Zycus and strongly integrated Zycus’ solutions as a means for achieving its procurement performance goals.
“This year at our annual customer event we had over 200 procurement executives come together to share the success they’ve experienced within their organizations,” said Aatish Dedhia, CEO of Zycus Inc. “It’s an honor to be regarded so highly by our core customers and we wanted to find a way to honor them for their achievements. We look forward to continuing this experience and fostering mindshare among some of the brightest minds in the procurement sector.”
The first Zycus Procurement Excellence awards were designed to honor the individuals, teams and organizations that adopted and positively impacted their company through the implementation of Zycus’ products. The award winners were announced during a reception on Monday, October 28 in San Antonio at the Horizon 2013, Zycus’ annual customer conference.
