The Drivers and Barriers to Effective User Adoption of Procurement Technologies
Procurement technologies have evolved significantly over the last 15 years, and new applications are constantly being developed. However, the effective adoption and use of enabling procurement technologies (EPTs) is still a “black box” for many companies, and postulated benefits remain elusive.
To address these challenges and to provide insight into the current state of EPT adoption, a two-phase industry study was conducted in 2014 by Michigan State University and Zycus. A total of 144 useable responses were received, enabling us to derive conclusions based on a larger sample.
