How Telekom Malaysia Digitized CLM with Zycus & Gen AI

Telekom Malaysia embarked on a transformative journey to digitize its Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process, transitioning from manual operations to an AI-powered, automated system with Zycus. In this session from Zycus Horizon 2024, Norlela Tukiban, General Manager of Finance Shared Services, shares insights into their long-awaited CLM implementation and how Zycus Merlin Gen AI revolutionized contract risk assessment and management.

Starting in 2015, Telekom Malaysia faced numerous hurdles before successfully going live with Zycus CLM in 2024. Previously, contracts were created, stored, and managed manually, leading to inefficiencies and compliance risks. Now, with Merlin AI, Telekom Malaysia automates contract discovery, identifies risks in vendor negotiations, and enhances decision-making.

The integration of Certinal eSign ensures seamless, secure contract execution, replacing Telekom Malaysia’s in-house solution. Additionally, Zycus Supplier Network (ZSN) streamlines vendor collaboration, making contract negotiations more efficient.

This session highlights the power of Gen AI in procurement and contract management, providing valuable takeaways for organizations looking to future-proof their operations with automation, risk analysis, and digital transformation.
