Princeton, New Jersey, April 17, 2019: Zycus is pleased to announce the signing of a leading FMCG giant with its headquarters in California, United States, on a 3-year agreement for Zycus’ Spend Analytics to soon begin its implementation.

The client is a national manufacturer and marketer of branded and custom made shortenings, oils, dressings, mayonnaises, sauces, and margarines for the foodservice, retail, and ingredient manufacturing industries. As the largest maker of vegetable oil-based products in the U.S., the organization produces over three billion pounds of finished goods each year.

The organization’s highest priority was to get visibility into reliable and accurate spend data since they were facing some challenges with their existing solution. Their vision is to transform their procurement function through automation using the best-of-breed procurement platform and adopting best practice processes without increasing their staff.

During the evaluation, Zycus was able to link the organization’s value to the solutions through several demonstrations and hence was differentiated from other technology providers. The solutions are perfectly aligned with the organization’s current business goals as well as their future growth roadmap.

“We are focused to transform their procurement processes with our solutions with measurable results,” said Jeffrey McKinnon, VP Sales-US, Zycus Inc. “Our solution provides companies with the ability to automate processes, create new levels of efficiency, and drive results to the bottom line.”
