Zycus Invites Procurement Visionaries to Fly High Over Melbourne on October 8

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA OCTOBER 7, 2014 – Zycus, a world leader in Procurement Technology solutions across the source-to-pay cycle, will host its second ZEST for procurement leaders event on October 8, 2014 in conjunction with The 2nd Annual Premier ConfeX 2014 in Melbourne. The invitation-only ZEST evening will begin at 4:30-pm with a 10,000-ft high helicopter tour over Melbourne followed by an exquisite evening of drinks, barbecue and networking.

With a theme of Sourcing Opportunity, the Premier Confex event will convene on October 8-9, 2014 at The Crown Promenade Melbourne. On the distinguished speaker roster for the event will be Joanne Davenport, MCIPS, General Manager Group Procurement with Fletcher Building, who is a Zycus customer. At the Zycus booth (No.16), conference attendees may collect a copy of a new Pulse of Procurement 2014 (Australia/New Zealand edition) research report and leave a business card for a chance to win a Kindle Fire HD.

After ZEST, Zycus will attend the CIPS Australasia 10th Annual Conference and Awards Dinner on October 15-16 at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney. With a focus on change – The Journey from Purchasing Evolution to Procurement and Supply Revolution – the CIPSA event programme is built around four core themes: technology, talent, transformation and tomorrow. Zycus representatives will be available for discussion and networking at Booth No.8, where attendees may, likewise, collect copies of the new Pulse of Procurement research report and enter to win a Kindle Fire HD.

“Meeting with procurement professionals on the road and hearing first-hand about their information and technology needs is the lifeblood of our solution development process,” says Zycus CEO and founder Aatish Dedhia.

Based on annual research begun in 2011, the Zycus Pulse of Procurement report documents progression on multiple procurement performance benchmarks, including cost savings, spend under management, contract compliance, sourcing and order cycle times, procurement technology adoption, use and utilisation. The report also provides a look at current econonic, regulatory and other challenges and where buisness leaders see procurement information and technology heading over the coming decade.

“Meeting with procurement professionals on the road and hearing first-hand about their information and technology needs is the lifeblood of our solution development process,” says Zycus CEO and founder Aatish Dedhia. “We are very much looking forward to being in attendance at these two premier Australia/New Zealand events.”
