The Contest
You understand that by participating in the ‘Share an e-Card’ and/or ‘Caption to Win’ and/or ‘Insert the Right Words’ Contest (each a "Contest" and collectively “Contests”) you are accepting the terms of these Contest Official Rules (“Official Rules”) and agreeing to be bound by them. The "Sponsor" of the Contests is Zycus Infotech Private Limited (Hereinafter referred to as “Zycus”, “Sponsor”) The Contest ends at 23:59 hours PST on the 31st of May 2019.
Eligibility
The Contests are open to legal residents of all countries except Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. The Contests are subject to the applicable laws. Employees (including their friends and family members), resellers, sister companies and partners of Zycus are not eligible to participate in the Contests. In the event that Zycus requires any assistance in order to assess your compliance, you must promptly provide such assistance.
Zycus shall have the right at any time to require proof of identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Contest. Failure to provide such proof may result in disqualification. All personal and other information requested by and supplied to Zycus for the purpose of the Contest must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading.
Zycus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify your entry if it concludes that: a) you have tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Contests or, b) have acted in violation of these Official Rules or any such other applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations or, c) you do not provide the requested assistance for compliance in a timely manner. The decisions of Zycus shall be final and binding in all respects and you agree to be bound by the same.
Selection and Prize
Participants of the Contests stand a chance to win prizes linked to the Contests. A participant will be eligible to win more than one prize. Manner of selection of the winners for each Contest and the applicable prize(s) will be mentioned in the Contests webpage. Prize(s) are not transferable, assignable or refundable and cannot be substituted for cash. Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded. Zycus reserves the right to offer an alternate prize of equal or greater value (which may also be in the form of a gift voucher) if for any reason any prize cannot be awarded as contemplated by Zycus.
Winner Notification
The prize winners will be notified via e-mail and Zycus’s Facebook and Twitter pages within a period of maximum four weeks from the date on which the Contests ends ("Winner Notice"). The Winner Notice will include information on how the winners can claim their prizes. Failure to provide an accurate emailing address within 7 days from the date of Winner Notice or failure to comply with any rule, regulation or limitation will result in the forfeiture of the prize
Content
Content submitted, as part of taking part in the Contests, should not:
- be unlawful, in violation of any law, or violate the IP rights of any third party;
- be hateful, tortuous, slanderous, or libellous;
- promote bigotry, racism, sexism, hatred, or harm against any group or individual, nor should it promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age;
- contain any personal information, such as personal names or e-mail addresses;
- promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms, or weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing);
- promote any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous;
- contain any nudity or sexually explicit, lewd, offensive, disparaging, or otherwise inappropriate content;
- communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill with which Zycus or contestants wish to associate.
General Conditions
- All entries submitted, and all information provided, by Eligible Participants must be complete and accurate. Zycus will not be held responsible for any technological malfunctions, telephone or waiver forms and/or internet interruptions and/or any late/incomplete/erroneously completed Prize claims or release.
- The contents of all entries submitted become property of Zycus. Zycus reserves the right to use the contents of entry submissions provided by entrants, for editorial, advertising, marketing and promotional purposes, without further compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law. Each Eligible Participant grants permission for Zycus to use the contents of his/her entry submission including name and address for editorial, advertising, marketing and promotional purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation, notification or permission.
- By entering the Contest, Eligible Participants expressly consent to Zycus storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the Contest and in accordance with Zycus’s Privacy Policy publicly available on Zycus’s website.
- All entries are subject to verification by Zycus and may be disqualified if they are received outside of the Contest Period, are incomplete, illegible, irregular, photocopied or otherwise reproduced, submitted through illicit means or if they contain any false statements, or do not conform to for satisfy to any condition of these Contest rules and regulations.
- By entering the Contest, Eligible Participants agree that Zycus, media partners, advertising and promotional agencies reserve the right to publish without compensation the full name, city of residence, and photograph of all winners and Eligible Participants waive all rights with respect to printed, broadcast and other forms of publicity. Eligible Participants further agree that all entries submitted and their content become the property of the Zycus and will not be returned.
- Eligible Participants agree to be bound by all decisions of Zycus regarding the Contest which shall be final and binding in all respects.
- Eligible Participants agree that Zycus is not liable for any incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or for any error or malfunction of any kind in connection with the Contest. If the Contest is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause, Zycus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way, without any further obligations to Eligible Participants. Furthermore, Zycus determines, at its sole discretion, that any entry compromises the integrity of the Contest, Zycus reserves the right to disqualify the entry at issue or terminate the Contest in its entirety without any further obligations to Eligible Participants. Zycus further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual from the Contest and to ban the individual from any future contest of Zycus who it finds or believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest; to be acting in violation of the Contest rules and regulations or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
- By entering this Contest, Eligible Participants agree to release and hold harmless Zycus, respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any liability, damages or causes of actions (however named or described) in connection with the Contest or, if declared a winner, the Prize awarded and use thereof.
- I understand that the Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged for cash or for any other prize.
- I understand that Zycus has the right to substitute a Prize of equal or greater value if the Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason.
- The Contest is subject to laws of India.
