Ardent Partners surveyed over 300 CPOs and supply management leaders in a recent survey and made some interesting observations. This latest report titled “CPO Game Changer Vol. 3: People, Process and Communication,” focuses on the best practices and strategies that leading CPOs have utilized to harness the power of people, process, and communication across their operations.
Highlights of the top game changing strategies by CPOs include:
- 53% of the survey respondents consider enhancing their talent pool, either by hiring more staff or seeking a more talented staff with specific skills, a top strategy.
- 48% of respondents regard having better communication plans with internal and external stakeholders as their top strategy.
- 44% of respondents believe in better team execution as the top strategy.
“Whatever strategy (or strategies) a CPO decides to adopt, they should know that their job is not done after implementation”, says report author Andrew Bartolini. “Continuous improvement is a virtue, while complacency is a vice: strive for the former and avoid the latter,” adds Bartolini.
