Zycus Announces Partnership for Training and Career Development with the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM)

Mumbai, India, August 04, 2011 - Zycus, a world leader in Spend Management Solutions, announced today that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) to deliver thought-leading supply and spend-management knowledge and global best practices to IIMM members and other interested procurement and supply-chain management professionals throughout India.

The collaboration between Zycus and IIMM is already underway with a five-part webinar series, titled Procurement Thursdays, which ran weekly throughout May and into June and attracted nearly 400 participants from some 300 companies. The 30-minute interactive sessions presented global state-of-the-art practices in procurement, spend-data management, technology-driven competitive sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship and performance management.

These day-long events - aimed at procurement and supply chain leaders (and those aspiring to be leaders) - will feature expert speakers on modern procurement concepts such as enterprise spend management, cross-functional collaboration, collaborative innovation with suppliers, supply risk management, and long-term, win-win supplier relationships.
